When her daughter Malaika was just four years old, she asked her Mum, Britts (Founder of Blossoms) one simple question… “Mum, why are there no fashion shows for kids?”. Britts couldn’t answer that at the time, but it planted the seed that grew Blossoms a few years later.
The idea is simple: that every child deserves a chance to feel confident and celebrated so that they can Blossom.
What started as a small local event has grown into one of New Zealand's best-loved kids and teens fashion shows, giving children the chance to build confidence, make friends, and shine in front of a supportive audience.
Blossoms is now known as a life changing experience, empowering young people to unleash their creativity. There are youth models, youth designers and youth entertainers all involved to make the runway day one to remember.
